This year, CeramOptec once again was present at the Laser World of Photonics 2017 in Munich, boasting a brand new especially designed trade fair stand. The products and models on offer generated a lot of interest and positive feedback. 

Looking back at the trade fair

As a fibre optics supplier, CeramOptec is instrumental in the development of high-tech company Trumpf. One of the latest developments is a sensor-based laser welding process that can compensate component fluctuations independently during welding. Which is why, for the second time running, Trumpf receives the Daimler Award for Industry 4.0 and Laser Technology.

Natural branding refers to an innovative way to label food without creating extra plastic waste and without the use of substances that are harmful to health. In order to achieve this, laser is used to brand the surface of the fruit with a so called bio-seal.
