We will be exhibiting at Photonics North in Québec City – an established meeting point for the Canadian and North American photonics community.

The event brings together experts from research, industry and application development across fields such as sensing, imaging, spectroscopy, biomedical technologies and advanced optical systems.

For us, Photonics North provides an important opportunity to exchange perspectives on current developments in photonics and to better understand evolving technical requirements across different application areas. As a development partner for optical fiber solutions, these conversations are essential for translating complex challenges into application-specific approaches.

We look forward to insightful discussions and to meeting partners and experts throughout the event.

CeramOptec will be participating in the IVAM Hightech Summit, held in Leiden (Netherlands) from June 22 to 23, 2026. During the conference, we will deliver a technical presentation highlighting recent advancements and fiber optic innovations in minimally invasive laser therapy for applications in medical technology and life sciences.

The talk will address current technological trends, application-driven requirements, and the role of advanced fiber-based solutions in enabling precise, reliable, and scalable minimally invasive procedures.

The IVAM Hightech Summit offers an excellent platform for interdisciplinary exchange between industry, research, and application experts. We look forward to engaging discussions, new perspectives, and an open technical dialogue on future developments in medical and life science photonics.

From August 25 – 27, 2026 we will be exhibiting at SPIE Optics + Photonics in San Diego – a key meeting point for the global photonics community.

From optical materials and nanotechnology to spectroscopy and life science applications, it reflects the full spectrum of light-based technologies and their growing impact across industries.

For us, this diversity is especially relevant. As a development partner for optical fiber solutions, we work across a wide range of applications – making events like this an important opportunity to connect perspectives, understand evolving requirements and translate them into application-specific solutions.

We look forward to insightful conversations and to meeting partners and experts on site.

Exchange on Current Developments in Laser Technology

Our participation at AKL’26 provided an excellent opportunity for exchange with experts from across the laser industry. The congress once again demonstrated its importance as a platform connecting industrial laser applications, system manufacturers and research institutions.

Our presentation focused on how precise energy delivery into biological tissue can be achieved through the careful selection of wavelength, fiber design and material properties. Using examples from medical technology and life sciences, we illustrated how fiber-optic solutions support next-generation minimally invasive laser systems.

Beyond the conference program, the event offered numerous opportunities to discuss current and future challenges in laser-based technologies, as well as to connect with partners and industry experts.

We would like to thank everyone for the insightful conversations and the positive exchange throughout the event.

With our participation at SPIE Photonics Europe in Strasbourg, one thing became clear: this event plays a unique role within the photonics landscape.

It brings together research, development and application at a very early stage. Discussions don’t start with products – they start with challenges: thermal effects, long-term stability, material behavior or system integration.

This makes SPIE Europe an important platform not only for visibility, but for gaining deeper insight into where photonics technologies are heading next.

We are grateful for the many valuable discussions and look forward to continuing these conversations beyond the event.

Four intense days of in-depth technical discussions, valuable exchanges, and new insights: Photonics West has once again surpassed itself. We look back very positively. As part of the German Pavilion, we presented our innovative fiber optic solutions to an international expert audience and engaged with both long-standing partners and new contacts.

Our main emphasis was on application-focused OEM fiber solutions, high-power fibers designed for reliable long-term performance, and custom-designed fiber geometries suited for challenging industrial and medical uses. Direct discussions around specific technical requirements, ongoing development projects, and future applications proved particularly valuable.

The consistently open and constructive atmosphere, combined with strong interest in tailored solutions, once again highlighted the dynamic and forward-looking direction of the photonics industry. We sincerely thank all visitors for the insightful conversations, the trust placed in our expertise, and the many impulses we take with us into future projects.
